Debbie Shore
"I loved shopping so much, I had to come and work for Ideal World!"
Debbie is known to Ideal World viewers for her love of fashion and footwear, and to her friends for her love of shopping!
If you watched Dangermouse and Thomas the Tank Engine on BBC TV as a youngster, you may remember Debbie as the presenter who appeared between programmes, reading letters and acting in sketches.
Since then, Debbie has done lots of television, including Emmerdale, Crossroads, Heartbeat and Brookside, and has appeared in many TV commercials.
Born in Derby, Debbie came to Ideal World after doing product demo's and information commercials ("infomercials") elsewhere in TV shopping.
She lives in a converted chapel in Derbyshire with her husband, Garie, and children, David (born 1981) Kimberley (1990) and Tyler (1995).
Debbie keeps a menagerie of animals including Ed, a bull terrier; an elderly cat; rabbits and fish - as well as chickens, ducks and peacocks, so she is never short of eggs!
