The experience:
- Pilot briefing and introduction to ballooning

Flying season is March to October, and can vary in some areas. Dates are now being made available for March 2012. All flights are weather dependent.
Health & Safety Information:
- Virgin Balloon Flights has a commercial Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
- All pilots are highly experienced, fully qualified commercial balloon pilots
- Passenger and third party liability insurance up £10 million
- Passengers must be aged 7 or over
- Under 16-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult
- Passengers must be 4ft 6in tall
- Weight restriction – anyone over 20 stone is required to pay supplement
- Passengers must be physically able to climb into the basket, stand unassisted for an hour and adopt the seated landing position
- Passengers should seek medical advice before participating if they have any condition which could be exacerbated by the activity
