This ROK 3-in-1 No Jolt Stretch Lead will help you keep your dog under control while travelling in the car.

Basically, you feed the seatbelt buckle through this added loop and fasten to the belt clip. Not all leads have this added loop making this a unique feature! This allows the dog to sit on the car seat, still allowing some movement, but will not allow the dog to be flung forward in the event of impact.
