Chef Tony was born into an Italian/Sicilian family in Brooklyn, New York, and from an early age helped in the family fresh produce market stall.

As a young teenager he was taught all the secrets of great cooking by his mother, who provided him with the passion and knowledge which he has taken with him through his professional life.
