Ellis Ward

"I am so happy to be part of the world's best shopping television family!"

Ellis is well-known to Ideal World viewers for presenting health and beauty, fashion and, she says, "being the manic housewife!"

Viewers remember Ellis as co-presenter on the highly successful LWT show You Bet, first with Bruce Forsythe, then with Matthew Kelly.

Ellis started her career when she became one of the youngest dancers ever to grace the Moulin Rouge, Paris, in the early 1980s. Ellis left in 1984 to join the original cast of the hit musical 42nd Street in the West End.

After five years in You Bet, Ellis joined Watch, the BBC children's educational series, which went on to win an award from the Royal Society of Television.

After a career break to marry Robert and raise her family, Amelia and twins Clara and Jedd, Ellis leaped at the opportunity to join Ideal World when it was launched in April 2000.

Ellis is enjoying the challenges that live television brings, and is happy to be part of the world's best shopping television family!
