Working here gives me the chance to have fun, learn and shop - a hobby I love!
Rachel has presented hundreds of hours of live and pre-recorded television for all the major broadcasters in the UK, including Sky, Channel 4, ITV, ITV2 and the BBC. She can currently be seen in her most recent roles as a reporter on the show Inside Out for BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire
Over the last 15 years, Rachel has hosted live daytime shows for five (Brainteaser and Memorybank), presented live outside broadcasts for Richard and Judy on Channel 4, reported for ITV's entertainment show Preview and interviewed famous film and pop celebrities, such as Kristin Scott-Thomas, Hugh Laurie and Geena Davis among loads of other shows...
Rachel is also an experienced voice-over artist and as well as recording regular commercials and infomercials (many from her home studio), she was also the voice of the Quiz Mistress on ITV ’s teatime quiz show Divided hosted by Andrew Castle and produced by Endemol. Not only did she provide the contestants with questions and answers, but she also improvised, offering witty responses to contestant successes and failures during the game, a role she relished due to its tongue-in-cheek naughtiness!
In the corporate world she has worked with clients such as RBS , Audi, Santander, Prudential and Cunard, the latter allowed her to go on board the Queen Victoria for 5 days and sail around the med. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it!
Working for Ideal World means Rachel has the chance to inject her personality into proceedings, have fun, learn and shop, a hobby she loves! “It really is an Ideal World where I am surrounded by such fabulous beauty products, technology and gadgets for the home, dangerous for my bank account though!!”
