It's important to bear in mind that mowing is pruning. With all the care you put into pruning bushes and flowers, you shouldn't forget to prune (or mow) your lawn.
With our guide and the correct tools, you can have a the perfect lawn by summer. Why not give yourself and your lawn a treat with our Cordless Lawn Mower from GTech: which takes all the hassle out of mowing your lawn.
Proper mowing not only looks nice, it increases the health and density of you lawn, which in turn decreases weeds.
The desired outcome is to create a balance: cut too low and you can damage your lawn, cut too high and you can get weak and uneven growth. Luckily you can be a lawn ranger with our excellent guide below:
It's a great feeling to have a striped lawn, and anyone can achieve it with a little care.
The striped effect is caused by the grass laying in different ways. Mowing all the way to one end of the lawn and then turning around and coming back the other way, then going back over your pattern with a garden roller will leave you with the correct effect.
You can add to this effect by turning 90o and mowing, then rolling, across your lawn to create a cross-hatched effect.
Finish by mowing a box around the end of your lawn and trimming the edges.
