Simply beautiful when it bursts into bloom in early spring each year, this "Fuji Cherry" will be absolutely smothered with gorgeous pale pink flowers, which explode from the deep-crimson buds in March.
Not only that, its foliage looks spectacular too. The lovely elongated leaves change from pale green, growing darker as they age, then fiery orange and red before they fall, in a simply stunning autumn show.
Even when it isn't in leaf in the winter, this deciduous beauty will look great the stem of this dwarf Japanese tree will grow into an unusual zigzag form.
What really makes this tree stand out from other flowering cherries is the fact that it will stay very compact only ever growing to around 2m (6-7ft) tall.
