When seeding your lawn, whether from scratch, over seeding or repairing damaged parts of your lawn you can feed it with Lawn Master immediately. This will allow the seed to absorb the moisture from the compost which will soften the seed coat to help the seed germinate a little quicker. Keep the seed damp but not soaked until it has germinated.
Spiking with a fork at least 5 inches deep at the start of the season will aerate your lawn getting vital Oxygen to the roots and will also help drainage from the surface one of the common causes of moss.
Never let the surface of the lawn dry out a common cause of Dry Patch.
Treating weeds in Lawns Apply a selective weed killer, but only in the Spring when the weeds are actively growing. Remember some of the tougher weeds will need two applications.

About the Brand
Over a couple of hundred years, Spear and Jackson's products have become widely recognised for their heritage and high quality. In the early 1800s a draper named John Love and a Wakefield merchant, Alexander Spear, decided that steel offered a better living than cloth and went into business together. By 1814, the business had passed down to Alexander's nephew John, who took on an apprentice - Sam Jackson - to learn 'ye art, trade or mistery of sawmaking'. Sam's first job was carrying blades from the forge to the grinding wheels yet, by 1830, he had obviously proved his worth as a new partnership was formed - Spear and Jackson. Neill Tools, Spear and Jackson's parent company,
Centuries of experience and innovation have resulted in the materials and development expertise that resides within the company today; and continuous innovation is at the heart of the company's ethos.
