Ideal World Limited offer a waste electrical take back scheme. This means that if you buy an electrical product from us we will accept your old item back for disposal, as long as this is like for like in use and of a similar size. This also includes waste electricals that have not been purchased from Ideal World Limited if you are replacing with a product purchased from us. Our appointed waste disposal service provider will then transfer any waste we receive to a suitable recycling depot.
To remind you that old electrical equipment should not be disposed on in your normal household waste a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol is present on the product.
Where a product is damaged it is the customer’s responsibility to check that the item is safe to be transported to Ideal World Limited via their chosen method. Customers will be responsible for any costs associated with the return of electrical waste.
Ideal World Limited offer a waste battery scheme. This means that any waste batteries can be returned to Ideal World Limited for safe disposal. This also includes batteries that have not been purchased from Ideal World Limited. Our appointed waste disposal service provider will then transfer any waste we receive to a suitable recycling depot.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check that any batteries are safe to be transported to Ideal World Limited via their chosen method. Customers will be responsible for any costs associated with the return of battery waste.
